How to Cook the Perfect Hamburger?

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 mix)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Burger buns
  • Your choice of toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese)

Instructions:

  1. Form the Patties: Divide the ground beef into 4 equal parts. Form each into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick.
  2. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the Burgers: Season the patties with salt and pepper. Place them on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium, or until the desired doneness is reached.
  4. Add Cheese: If making cheeseburgers, add cheese in the last minute of cooking.
  5. Assemble and Serve: Place the cooked patties on buns, add toppings, and serve immediately.
